Bridging The Gaps Ministry ("we," "us" or "our") is a ministry. This policy explains what information we collect through bridgingthegapsinc.com, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email us at info@bridgingthegapsinc.com.

1. Information you give us

  • Forms. When you use our contact form, prayer request form or personal outreach form, we collect your name, your email address and whatever you choose to write in your message.
  • Free samplers and email updates. When you ask for a free Bible study sampler or sign up for our emails, we collect your name and email address.
  • Study kit purchases. When you buy a digital study kit, we collect your name, email address and billing details so we can complete your order and send your download. Payments are handled by Squarespace Payments, and we never see or store your full card number.

You don't have to give us any information to read the site, watch our videos or download our free worksheets and guides.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and analytics tools to see how the site is used, such as which pages are visited, what kind of device and browser you're using and your general location. We use Squarespace's built-in analytics, Google Analytics and Metricool for this. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, and the site will still work.

3. How we use your information

  • To answer your message and follow up when you reach out to us
  • To pray for your request and send you a prayer by email
  • To deliver the study kits you buy and the samplers you ask for
  • To send the emails you signed up for
  • To understand how people use the site so we can make it better

4. Prayer requests and personal outreach

Prayer requests and outreach messages stay private. We don't share them, sell them or post them anywhere. They're read by our ministry so we can pray and follow up with you.

We use AI writing tools to help us draft prayers and replies. A person from our ministry reads and approves every message before it's sent to you.

5. Who we share information with

We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with the services that help us run the ministry, and only so they can do that work for us:

  • Squarespace, which hosts our website, forms, store and payments
  • MailerLite, which sends our sampler and newsletter emails
  • Google, which provides our email and Google Analytics
  • Metricool, which helps us understand site and social media traffic
  • Notion, where we keep our prayer and ministry records
  • AI writing tools we use to help draft prayers and replies

Videos on our site are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube's own privacy policy applies when you play one. We may also share information if the law requires it.

6. Emails from us

If you sign up for a sampler or our email updates, or choose to join our list at checkout, we'll send you emails from the ministry. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the list at any time. We'll still send emails about an order you placed.

7. Children

The Bridge Kids videos and our kids workbooks are made for children to enjoy with a grown-up. Our forms, email signups and store are meant for adults, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

8. Keeping your information safe

We use trusted services and reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send anything through our forms that you wouldn't want stored online.

9. Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we have about you, correct it or delete it. Email info@bridgingthegapsinc.com and we'll take care of it. Some order records may need to be kept for tax and accounting reasons.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
