Held Secure
A 6 Week Christian Workbook for Anxious Attachment, Overthinking, Fear of Abandonment, and Learning to Trust God in Relationship
Held Secure is a 6-week workbook for women who love God but still struggle with overthinking, needing reassurance and the fear of being left in their relationships. It helps you slow down your responses and bring your thoughts back to truth. The book says it plainly: it’s “not here to shame you,” and it’s “not here to label you.”

It’s written for personal use, so you work through it on your own, one day at a time.

Questions about Held Secure
Who is Held Secure for?
Women who love God but still find themselves struggling with fear and overthinking in their relationships. As the book puts it, “especially when you love God, but still find yourself struggling in these areas.”
What kind of relationships does it speak to?
The book doesn’t name one kind. It speaks to close relationships in general, and it spends real time on the pull to go back to someone or something you already know isn’t right.
What does the Bible say about the fear of being abandoned?
Week 2 is built on Hebrews 13:5, where God promises He won’t fail you or forsake you. That week also spends time in Deuteronomy 31:6 and Isaiah 41:10.
Should I use a workbook or see a counselor?
Held Secure isn’t a substitute for professional counseling or therapy. If you need that kind of help, please reach out for it.
Can I use Held Secure with a group?
No. Held Secure is written for personal use only. It’s meant to be worked through on your own, at your own pace.
Is there a Kindle version?
Not yet. It’s in paperback, sized 8 x 10 so there’s room to write.
What if I haven’t put my faith in Jesus?
The back of the book includes an invitation to place your faith in Jesus Christ, with a simple prayer.
